1944 - RAAF & WAAAF
revue held at the Wintergarden Theatre. "Girls of the Naughty Nineties".
One of the most vigorous moments in the spectacular Latin Quarter number
was the Can-Can dance performed by eight RAAF officers. On stage, in the
front with the top hat is "The Roue of Paris" played by Wing Commander (Wg
Cdr) G.B.Baldwin. The others are Squadron Leader E.A.Montigue; Flight
Lieutenant (Flt Lt) W.Thorpe; Flying Officer (FO) A.Gardiner; Flt Lt
J.Watson; FO O.Witts; Wg Cdr J.P.Rush; FO C.Green; Flt Lt K.C.Beeton DFC. |
